Discovering new places is one of the joys of being a photographer.   When Amber suggested an engagement session in the town of Waterford, Virginia I was excited to explore a new spot.  I met her and Anthony on a beautiful morning and we set out about the town.  After falling into disrepair in the early part of the 20th century, Waterford rebounded and is now a National Historic Landmark . The designation was made in recognition of the town’s well-preserved 18th and 19th-century architecture and landscape. 94% of the houses in Waterford were built before 1900.  It is a wonderful old historic town with many options for great photos.   I can’t wait for the wedding.
