Washington DC Wedding Photography – Graeter Wedding

I shot the wedding of Carissa and Phillip at The Ritz Carlton in Georgetown.  The weather did not cooperate as it was 125 degrees outside, but the staff at The Ritz could not be more accommodating.  They  allowed us to photograph anywhere inside the hotel.  The building has a unique history as it was once a recycling plant.  When designing the hotel they left intact much of the original brick factory walls, which make for some wonderful photographic locations.  Carissa and Phillip enjoyed the day and were fortunate to have Phillip’s family and friends fly over from Germany.  They brought with them a special drinking cup which had been handed down through the family for many years.  Phillip was clearly moved as he received the gift.  The couple will soon fly to Germany to celebrate with those who could not make the trip.

Washington DC Wedding Photographer – Finland Wedding

I shot the wedding of Colleen and Max at the Tabard Inn in Washington, DC.  The Tabard is a quaint little B&B and was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.  The weather was not exactly cooperating but that did not diminish the mood of the bride or groom.

Wedding Photography Washington DC – Lenger Wedding

I shot the wedding of Katie and Scott at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville followed by a reception at Mio Restaurant.  This was a small wedding filled with lots of love.  The reception at Mio felt like a giant dinner party with close friends.

Washington DC Wedding Photography – Myers Wedding

I shot the wedding of Rebecca and Brian at Holy Trinity in Georgetown followed by a reception at The Mayflower.  Holy Trinity is the church JFK attended while he was in office and The Mayflower is one of DC’s oldest and most elegant hotels.  The entire event had the charm and grace of a classic Washington DC wedding.

DC Wedding Photographer – Penman Wedding

I shot the wedding of Olivia and Andrew at The Roof Terrace at 101 Constitution in Washington, DC.  The bride and groom wanted an “old Hollywood” elegant wedding theme and I would say they pulled it off.  Too bad the beautiful Capital building was covered in scaffolding.   Still a wonderful Washington DC wedding.
